athagon
I just wanted to pass on a word of thanks. I found everything I needed last evening to get my hackintosh all up and running! Motherboard: GA-EP45-UDR3 CPU: E8400 Ram: 4GB OCZ somehting or other with blingy heat pipes Video: EVGA 9600 GSO 320mb (via these instructions) All seems to work grand! Went from 10.5.2 Kalyway -> 10.5.3 Kalyway -> 10.5.4 Apple -> 10.5.5 Apple (w/ command like deleting of a file). QE loads fine, I have a transparent menu bar! mic.mac.hack
Anyone else interested in getting their 9 series card working could also use this guide mentionied in one of aqua-mac's posts: http://aquamac.proboards106.com/index.cgi?...&thread=509. I'm thinking of buying the Palit 9600 GSO 768MB which I hope should work with the above tutorial. LC77
Im using a XFX 9600 gso 384mb (DDR3) in leopard retail 10.5.6. Just use Uinstaller and select EFI video, 8800gs 384mb. Works perfect with CI and QE. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137679-ga-ep45-udr3-e8400-nvidia-9600-gso/#findComment-1108008 Share on other sites
