enli
Hi, I own Dell inspiron 1525 (Kalyway 10.5.3) which has Marvell Yukon 88e8040 ethernet. After searching many days for the driver i couldnt find one. So i checked today if my old D-Link DSL-502t work, as i dont have wireless router at home. It got detected but as an Apple Modem when checked in Network Preferrences. The network preferrences show the dial-up number etc. fields and this router cant dial a number. ( I dont have a working net connection right now, so i have no idea if this would work. Getting it in 2 weeks btw.) As connecting this router via ethernet interface is useless as NIC isnt working, USB is my only way to get connected on mac. Anyone have idea how to fix this ? Or do i need to buy another USB NIC card ? Any cheap alternatives to Apple USB Ethernet like those are available at ebay? Regards EnLi Edit: Attaching usb probe output if that helps in any way : Full Speed device @ 2 (0x3D200000): .............................................
