I use to have a ToH Leo 10.5.0 install, everything worked outta the box. till i think i installed vista alongside it which updated my BIOS

now My ToH DVD gets stuck at Waiting for root device..

so i installed Kalyway 10.5.1 which also worked except it came with a range of problems from

 

1. my networking card does not recognizing every time i put on my machine (1 out of 15 restart tries) :censored2:

2. my system gets that Black Shut down message unconditionally,

3. some apps like yahoo messenger Hang my system

 

 

anyway i just want my internet connection back and i'm not a big fun of updates so i would use my ToH if i could

i've already tried editing the IONetworkingfamily.kexts but it doesn't work

i've also tried installing the IONetworkingfamily.kexts from my ToH DVD but that doesn't work either

 

i just need some constructive thinking on how to fix this networking problem or get my ToH Leo 10.5.0 working again

 

downloading a new DVD takes forever for me so i'll wait for the next big release Snow
