Jason C
Searching the forums isn't working for me so posing the question was a last resort. What Wireless USB Adapters do you guys have that work out of the box (or with a driver installer, no manual kexts) with 10.5.5? I have iDeneb, so I'm looking for answers from the iDeneb crowd i guess. geiman
both the hawking hwug1a and the netgear wg111v2 work great for me with supplied drivers. No issues, and the hawking even as an external removable antenna that works great for wardriving, pentesting, etc Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137085-what-wireless-usb-adapters-works-out-of-the-box/#findComment-970183 Share on other sites
manofmany
I've got the Linksys WUSB600N working great. If you have a jumpdrive or a blank cd you can download the latest usbwireless 10.5 and install it and then go into the kext and change the device id in 2 files and restart. Very easy.
