non sequitur Posted April 1, 2006 Share Posted April 1, 2006 I am not going to be able to buy a macbook pro. tis quite sad, but it is just too expensive. i have been needing a laptop for awhile, so basically, my decision is to buy a good gaming laptop(running windows), and then install os x86 onto the machine. i also dont want it to be horribly expensive, but throw some links out if you can find a good one. i have been looking at ibuypower.com and checking the specs for the g-600( http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configurator.aspx?mid=146 ) and it seems to be a good machine. but i dont think that has sse3, and i dont like the fact that the processor isnt a core duo. so would anyone know of some sites that offer good gaming laptops that run on a core duo?
