quietglow Posted April 1, 2006 Share Posted April 1, 2006 Hello, I am having trouble with the AMD patch in v1.0a. I have a 10.4.5 system installed via the Myzar image (thanks!). I found the iTunes preference problem and also the v1.0a solution. I tried running the patch (in single user mode) but get a whole variety of errors when I run it: it reports commands not found in the very first few lines of the patch, gives a huge string of errors about Japanese files, and then finally winds up repeating an error about not being able to create a DiskArb... Sorry for posting exact output, I could think of a way to save it easily. I had to install the updated ATA driver from this thread: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=9847&st=0 to get things working properly. I wonder if that is creating a problem? Maybe I need to run the patch before the driver upgrade? Thanks for any help!
