MacNutty
I have tried all possible AppleHDA codec and patchers, but it failed to get headphone and mic to work. I have DG33FB motherboard which uses Intel High Definition Audio subsystem using configuration: 6-channel (5.1) audio subsystem (Realtek ALC888 audio codec). I am also attaching my audio codec which I retrieved from Linux: codec_dump.txt Please, if anyone could help me find the right kext or if any GURU could patch AppleHDA for me, it would be a great help. Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/136322-no-mic-headphone-alc888/ Share on other sites

MacNutty
Later I came to know that my front panel audio is Realtek AC97 and rear is Realtek HD audio ALC888. I installed AppleAC97.kext but I am unable to use the front panel audio consisting of Mic and Headphone. Has anybody got success with it, if yes, please share it with me.
