DrFruit
hi, I have an installation of OSX Iatkos v4i with the sil3132 siliconimage3132r5.kext installed. I have plugged a DVD writer into it, installed the kext, ran the permissions changes and rebooted. I read/write to the drive fine but the eject key on the keyboard does not do anything? I can manually drop the disc to the waste bin and it ejects fine. Has anyone else had this issue and if so are their any other posts i should read on here as to a solution? thanks for reading. coolio2004
As far I know this driver is for Raid5 systems only. Never heard that someone use it for DVD. I don´t use my controller anymore cause this driver has issues with 4 gb and more RAM.
