JRDELUNAIII
I have successfully installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on my laptop. Still tweaking it, but now I am too having problems playing videos on my laptop. When I try to play a DVD it gives the error "A valid video device could not be found for playback. [-70017]" I have noticed also that when going to GOOGLE VIDEO and playing a video from the internet it is very choppy. The laptop has: AMD TL-60 @ 2.0GHz 4GB Ram Memory 250GB Hard Drive ATI X1270 Intergrated Video Thanks for any help and information to resolve this. JRDELUNAIII
Check if your video card have QE/CI hardware acceleration enabled. Thanks for the reply back, I looked in System Profiler and it gives me: Display: Type: Display Bus: PCI VRAM (Total): 256MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x791f Revision ID: 0x0000 Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported So I am guessing that since I do not have Kexts for my video card, this why it is doing this. Is this correct ?? Again thanks for everyone'e help and any information that they can provide. Arc101
Dang, i wish it was working. I've gotten everything working except for a few bugs and headphones and the DVD player working. Any ideas or guesses on when they'll get this working?
