It just gets frozen and the computer deos't react! Gujal Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 Posting a picture of the white screen with Apple logo or the grey screen is of no use Boot with -v option and it will boot in text mode. Take a picture of this screen when it stops and post it along with the hardware specs of your machine and the distro that you are using. With that information may be someone can help you. Some people have had luck installing with a USB mouse and USB keyboard plugged in, some people have had to disable Hyper Threading in BIOS. I recently bought a Imac (and I love it), and i gave a way my desktop pc to a little cousin of mine, the laptop top was the only pc I kept!
