1001010
Hey everybody. I'm buying a new video card from my friend soon, an NVIDIA 8800GTS 640MB. I have the NVIDIA nForce 430 onboard graphics running currently, and I was just wondering if I'll be able to plug in the new card and go, or am I going to have to install some new kexts or something. I've never done anything like this with OS X Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! MaaseyRacer
EFI studio is going to be your best buddy. Make sure to remove any non-essential kexts for this process. From what I understand the stock geforce kexts are all you need.
