mvn4wrd
This is how I got it working: Modify IONetworkingFamily.kext by copying the Intel82566MM.kext to /Contents/PlugIns Install modified IONetworkingFamily.kext Go to/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration Correct preferences.plist by changing (en1) entries with (en0) Delete NetworkInterfaces.plist Reboot -f Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/135423-time-machine-fix-for-intel82566mm-users/ Share on other sites

mvn4wrd
@ nintendoguy, no...I have to renew DHCP lease. I rarely sleep this machine as it is "doing something" 24/7. The fact that I have a functioning Time Machine outweights this small bug. The kext used was straight from the techresearchinfo blog, and I'm sure w/more development this small bug will be solved! @ MacNutty, I don't see why it would'nt work. I see from your sig you modified the kext..for hardware id mabee, that should'nt matter.
