  1. Board Upgrade

I currently have a p5b that has a lot of problems. my biggest thing is that it does not sleep. and second is usb does not work very good. I would like to find a new board that will sleep with 10.5.6 and has good compatibility with osx in general. i would like to find it on newegg or frys for about a hundred bucks Thanks
  2. INSTAHackintosh. Retail Patcher. LiveDVD mode

On my computer it finishes creating system.pkg, then fails saying It create the macOSXIntaller.sparceimage then says could not find target and exits
  3. I did the update in a dmg, so i have to do it again, although i started this at 6:15 and it is not done yet
  4. Instructions are more difficult then before, but i figured it out and now it is working great. Does the 10.5.6 update have to be in pkg format? or can it be a dmg
  5. USB 2.0 P5B 10.5.6

I upgraded my p5b hack to 10.5.6 and now i get very slow usb 2.0 speeds. they end up being 1.1 speed. any help would be appreciated.
  6. sometimes that kext does not work and you manually have to delete the appleintelCPUPowermanagement.kext from the boot drive
  7. The dell mini 9 has a large mac os x community behind it and everything works but sleep with the stock ssd. Replacement ssd's do work with sleep though. just look here http://mydellmini.com/forum/mac-os-x-f23.html
  8. I made in updated version of Koen2X's efi mounter that tells you what your current boot disk is so you know the right disk. EFI_Mounter.zip
  9. To make sure the ones on the efi partition load, you need to increase the version number. i do not know how to do this though. any help would be appreciated.
  10. you need to delete AppleSMBIOS.kext form S/L/E because it is a new version and overwrites the one off of the EFI partition. if you delete the one on your main partition, it will make the one on the EFI partition load.
  11. 10.5.6 Released!

I noticed that AppleSMBIOS got updated
  12. DFE's BOOT-132 Resources Thread

Here is a P5B disk that i made. you can choose either~pcwiz's Plugin installer or EFI partition methods to instal a bootloader. made with Slimbuild GUI Everything works for audio(only stereo out) http://www.mediafire.com/?jnyawnmimyw
  13. EFI partition manager

I updated this so it uses EFI_BOOT_V6.1 and added DSDT compatibility. Kext_Updater_1.2.zip
  14. can you change the version.plist file to a larger number. i am asking this because if you don't have the kext in S/L/E but have it in a /Extra or in the EFI partition it loads the one in S/L/E because they are the same version
