nrotschafer
So I installed 10.4.5 on my Thinkpad and used the koverg ATI patches and got the full effects on dashboard etc with very little artifacting. But when I click on say iTunes in the dock it bounces VERY slowly. Like to the point where it is running by the time it goes all the way up on the first bounce. Was this because it wasn't plugged into power at the time and on battery so it was running in the slower speed or what? nrotschafer
Turns out it was because it wasn't plugged in and due to the nature of speedstep it starts up at ~800 Mhz but since we have no support for that kinda stuff in OSX86 yet it never bumps up. So this might be the next real hurdle for people with laptops...Plugged in everything works fine... I have the same problem as the threadstarter, but however, this happens even when my power is plugged. I used the PowerMangement, but to no avail. Meanwhile, I'm trying to fiddle around with the BIOS settings to see if this happens. Anyone can help me out here?
