neuroman
New version of the BIOs 5.43 is released but no one has download link yet. Can someone post it if they find it please. http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Hardware/IPIB...p/284447#M20358 I have the exact same board running on an HP a6660t and I have managed to get Snow Leopard running nearly flawlessly. The only things that don't work as of now are waking up from sleep and the HP card reader. My procedure was pretty simple using a retail snow leopard DVD. My setup: HP a6660t using ASUS ipibl-lb motherboard/Xeon X3320 Quad Core/ASUS Silent GEFORCE 210 512 1. insert and boot using ##### from tonymacx86 page. 2. Once loaded, change Snow Leopard retail DVD press F5 and choose the Snow Leopard Install DVD. Some people recommend using the -v -x switches on the Chameleon bootloader if you have difficulties loading the install disk - all you need to do is press the spacebarkey - or any key other than enter and enter the two switches. 3. Wait until the Snow Leopard loader finishes and install the retail version. 4. Once done the system will reboot and the computer will not start. You will need to insert the ##### cd again and choose your newly installed OSX drive in the menu. 5. Download and install the SNow Leopard 10.6.7 combo upgrade. 6. DO NOT REBOOT. You have to install the boot loader and some kexts before rebooting. You have two choices: If you have a DSDT file you can use it along with ##### (also downloaded form the tonymacx86 webpage) you can choose these options on the ##### install: User DSDT Install. System Utilities. If you do not have a DSDT (it can be generated later with DSDT autopatcher). The other option would be to choose: ##### install System Utilities ALC8XXHDA - For audio to work AppleHDA Rollback - If you are on 10.6.3 or above Non-DSDT HDAENabler - For audio to work Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx Ethernet - For the network card. Let ##### finish and run through the LAN card installation routine and you are pretty much done. Eject the ##### cd and restart the computer. You should boot into snow leopard. My video card was detected automatically with the graphics enabler option but you may need to do something about yours. I cannot upload my dsdt file but if anyone needs it please PM me. Good luck and I hope this helps some people.
