andy_bon
Im now pulling my hair out. Currently have 10.4.1 installed and working ok. I want to install 10.4.3 and after reading installation guides, spent 2 days downloading MacOSx 10.4.3 8F1111A Patched Jas v4.2b.iso. I've then burnt this patched iso to dvd, created partition, acivated partition and rebooted. My computer isn't recognising the iso and just says "operating system not found". Am I doing somthing wrong, or is my buning program creating a {censored} dvd?. I downloaded 2 versions of the iso and neither work. I will try one more version, burning it from within 10.4.1. CoolBits
maybe the problem is if you have a SATA drive as its known not to work in native without patching, if this is the point then try external usb drive or another PATA drive. Another thing is OSX doesn like not being on the first partition... greyhathacker45
Try the DVD in a non SATA computer. That will tell you if it's the DVD or the computer.
