I have downloaded drivers for my generic PCI-e eSATA controller from JMicron's TW site and several threads here including this one and nothing will work. My external drive is not detected at all and the JMicronATA.kext is not listed with kextstat. What can I do to make this thing work?!

I guess I should mention that this card and drive work perfectly under XP.

Looks like I posted too soon...according to lspci the card is detected but for some reason the WD1001FALS attached to it is not.

On further review it appears to be a hot plug issue. I restarted the pc with the drive turned on it came right up. Now only if I could get hot swap working.
