geiman Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 If its a restore dvd that came with your macbook I don't think you can use it, but if someone else knows how you can please speak up. On the other hand, if its an actual retail Leopard dvd, then yes you can by using something like boot-132, etc. Just search for boot-132 and you'll find a wealth of information on this subject. UnaClocker Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 Retail implies that it was sold in a store, seperate from a computer, in it's own box. If it's a disk that came with a Macbook, that would be an OEM version, not a retail version. It will only work on the particular machine it was sold with, whereas a retail disk will work in any computer that meets it's requirements.
