Elfenlyte
I am building a Hackintosh with a P35-DS3L motherboard. I was wondering what the best route is: to use Kalyway or a true vanilla install with the Leopard Retail Disk. What option would be more dedicated? What option would be easier for a first-timer in OSX86? What wouldn't need as many drivers? Korrupted
When you get a bit better at OSX, definitely go the B132 route. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/134167-kalyway-or-boot132-retail-disk/#findComment-951016 Share on other sites
Elfenlyte
Okay, but how will Boot132 do if I am on Kalyway and want to switch over to Boot132 at some point? Korrupted
What do you mean, "how well will it do?" If you mean will it work with hacked disks, no. Use a retail disk/image.
