David Leonard
Hey, This problem aroused for me when I installed the Voodoo_Beta2c kernel, I am going to revert back to what I was using, and see if it works. Update: went back to the ToH kernel I was using when it worked, and it is still not working. mryeadon
I am having the same issue as you guys and I think it might have something to do with this new GPU Acceleration support since I tried running it without Quartz Extreme with my Mac running core image in software mode Photoshop CS4 would start fine. I have however come across this after a Google search and it looks pretty useful. Yet to try it out. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/29255...cContainer_link Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/134047-photoshop-cs4-crash-on-startup/#findComment-977546 Share on other sites
mryeadon
Okay so my original hunch was just a mere coincidence. I've got this issue fixed with the RC1 release of the Voodoo Kernel. http://code.google.com/p/xnu-dev/ Best of luck. tornadoclaw
CS4 and AMD work fine with iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5. Photoshop CS4 never crashes with this combo.
