KTK1990
I just ran the CUPID CPU-Z program and was wondering if I could install OS X on this pc, using "iDeneb v1.3 (Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.5)" Attached is a photo of the CPU-Z results. The PC is a Dell Dimention i think 2350. Or 2300 The video card is a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (Integrated RAMDAC) with 128mb of memory.
Dr. Hurt
No it's too old. You need at least 512MB of ram to install it. Also SSE2 won't give good performance with many applications. I had a system with similar specs and it barely ran tiger.
KTK1990
ok, Thanks for the reply. I was planning on using it for small tasks. Since it is harder to get a virus on. And because it allows VNC withought downloading any 3rd party programs. If I disable a few visual effects, would I be able to use OS X on that pc? I plan on just having OS, Safari, and maybe 1 or two small programs running on it. And probally a solid color background (Since people say it uses less resources refreshing a solid color, then a picture)
