RTA Posted October 27, 2008 Share Posted October 27, 2008 For these purposes, I have three harddrives installed on my Hack. A 160GB SATA, which is my OS X install. A 75GB SATA, which is my Vista Ultimate x86 install, and a 500GB SATA for media storage and swap. I want to be able to access this drive (for music, pictures, videos, etc) from both installs. Currently, it's formatted NTFS. I installed NTFS-3G on my mac install, but I've had several problems. Freezes while reading from the NTFS partition occasionally (most of the time). Now, my question is this- Would I better formatting the 500GB storage HFS to be read natively in OS X, and using MacDrive from the Windows side?
