karishbhr
I usually don't have too many problems with hackintoshs... but this is a new one. I was updating my brothers hackintosh from 10.5.3 to 10.5.5. I followed the normal netkas method that worked for my computer in the past. This time, upon rebooting, the wheel kept spinning and spinning. When I used -v, i saw that the startup got stuck after "Journal replay done"... which is very early on in the startup process. Anyone know the problem/solution? I dont have my mac OSX disc with me now so if I could do something without it thatd be great but Im sure thats unlikely. Satyr
I had mine cured by disabling firewire in bios. Dunno what is the connection between firewire and that error but it went away... Edit: I got that error when updating with with combo update and with disabling firewire error went away but there were other problems with combo update so I had to use delta...
