rondaguy Posted October 26, 2008 Share Posted October 26, 2008 Hi guys, i am using Toshiba Laptop Satelite M30 with 512mb Ram, 1.6ghz pentium M, 64mb nVidia Gforce GO5200. I am using its default 60gb hdd and dvd rom drive. After inserting the Kalyway 10.5.2 dvd intel amd, i got stuck at the: 1) ACPI_SMC_Ctrl (etc loop) 2) Still waiting for root device how do i get the osx installation to load on my system? the dvd works fine on my other machines. In BIOS of my Toshiba L20 there is no option to switch my Hard Drive to AHCI too! rondaguy Posted October 26, 2008 Author Share Posted October 26, 2008 solved temporary by using a IDE to USB cable. connected my laptop 2.5 hdd to a desktop pc and install the kalyway to the 2.5hdd.
