Hi, during the installation process for x86 10.4.3 and its updates I have fund (with high surprise) that:

1. there is a problem where x86 10.4.3 or above installer does NOT recognize properly my built-in video card, compared to 10.4.1 (developer version), where speed was fine!

2. even the built-in mouse and built-in keyboard are not recognize anymore! (In version x86 10.4.1 all worked as a gem!)

QUESTIONS:

1. how to make my x86 recognize properly my internal video card?

2. how to make my x86 recognize my built-in mouse and keyboard?

3. how to disable the x86 hardware self check/diagnostic feature?

..... and overall, how to bring it back to the speed of 10.4.1 or as close to the speed of a native mac osx?

Hi there,

What video card are you using? Asking cos I have a Vaio as well - FS630W with an intel card which gives me a blue screen.

The one time it worked on my system, I found it was slow - till I disabled the screen saver and changed the time it took to make the monitor "sleep" i.e make it a blank screen.

I know it sounds odd - but it ran a lot faster after that. Try it.

Cheers!
