raggedjagged
Hi all, It's been a while since I've used OSx86, and I want to get back into it, but I'm finding all the 10.5.5 Combo update guides too overwhelming. So can someone please give me an advice on how to do a fresh installation of 10.5.5 on a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R (similar to DS3P) motherboard? Can you help point me to the right direction? I'd prefer to do a fresh installation rather than installing a previous version and update. I've noticed a 10.5.5 disc called iDeneb v.1.3, does anyone have reports on how that works of the GA-P35 motherboards? Does it work fine? I have a nVidia 7900GS video card which should be fine I hope. IF you need to know anything, please let me know. My specs are in the sig. Please advice, I'd appreciate all the help. Stander
How about you first try to install it and see if it works or not for you ? It should work, it works here...
raggedjagged
Thanks for the reply. Well I'm still downloading it so I thought in the meanwhile, I'd ask how it works. I want to make sure my sound and networking also work fine. (And hopefully the mic too.) Also, does it come with Chameleon? or boot-132? I'd like it so that I'm able to update OS X in the future when new versions come out, but if not, it's okay too.
raggedjagged
Okay, I just tried this and it doesn't work. The installation was successful. But after it reboots, OS X doesn't start. I did -v and it stops over here: http://img253.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00203me5.jpg (not my screenshot, but it stops at exactly the same point). Can someone please help?
