Hi all,

It's been a while since I've used OSx86, and I want to get back into it, but I'm finding all the 10.5.5 Combo update guides too overwhelming. :D

So can someone please give me an advice on how to do a fresh installation of 10.5.5 on a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R (similar to DS3P) motherboard? Can you help point me to the right direction? I'd prefer to do a fresh installation rather than installing a previous version and update.

I've noticed a 10.5.5 disc called iDeneb v.1.3, does anyone have reports on how that works of the GA-P35 motherboards? Does it work fine? I have a nVidia 7900GS video card which should be fine I hope.

IF you need to know anything, please let me know. My specs are in the sig. :P

Please advice, I'd appreciate all the help. :)

Thanks for the reply. :)

Well I'm still downloading it so I thought in the meanwhile, I'd ask how it works. :D I want to make sure my sound and networking also work fine. (And hopefully the mic too.)

Also, does it come with Chameleon? or boot-132?

I'd like it so that I'm able to update OS X in the future when new versions come out, but if not, it's okay too.

Okay, I just tried this and it doesn't work.

The installation was successful. But after it reboots, OS X doesn't start. I did -v and it stops over here:

Can someone please help?
