Y2J2K
I just installed 10.4.5 and pretty much everything works except sound. I have a Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer in my Mactel. Is there anything I can do to get it to work or is this a hopeless venture. Thanks. fOZf8
As far as I know, OSX dosn't support Creative cards and vice versa....if something is in the mix I'd love to hear about it though...sick of using the fully unaccelerated Azalia onboard sound that can't handle more than one audio stream at a time. VERTiG0
My onboard oldschool AC97 (some old chipset that does NOT work) uh, doesn't work, so I dug out an older SoundBlaster Live! Value card that I have had for a few years and tried it out. No dice, OS X doesn't even recognize it. I'm a sad panda Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13258-audigy-sound-card-not-supported/#findComment-84833 Share on other sites
