I've installed 10.4.5 on my IBM R50p laptop. At first boot, I went into the terminal and removed all ATI video drivers (/System/Library/Extensions/ATI*). Now my laptop boots fine, but of course it doesn't detect the video card, which is a ATI FireGL T2 with 128MB RAM. Can someone please tell me if it's possible to install some sort of a driver for this videocard? Here's some hardware info:

Vendor: ATI (0x1002)

Device ID: 0x4e54

Revision ID: 0x0080

Also, I'm seeking instruction for firegl 9000 which come with t40p thinkpads.

When I edit com.apple.Boot.plist and add 1400x1050x32 after a reboot, only the mouse cursor is displayed correctly, the remaining is drawed like if it was out of sync on an oldschool CRT display (ie: display 100hz on 60hz crt), anyone know what the issue is?

Thanks!
