hi.

  • download the newest vmware workstation (version 6.5).
  • search torrents for ideneb vmware image ( only use keyword ideneb to maximize your results and please use at your own discretion ;) )
  • extract, open vmx file and run the virtual machine. when prompted select "I copied the system." you can also enable the 2nd core for your vm, leopard should recognize.. refer to my screenshot
  • very fool proof and is pretty fast and actually usable, for network make sure you use manual config set up an ip address.
  • to change display resolution and make it permanent check out ~pcwiz's tutorial Click ->
  • *no QE/CI still...

check my attachment for a screenshot.

benchmarks are pretty decent but overall score marred by lack of QE/CI.

hope everything goes well for you

edit: doing it this way robs yourself of that sense of self-accomplishment, but to be honest i'm lazy so i'd prefer it this way :D

memphis... How does having 2 vCPU's perform?

Some people have siad that when they enable 2 CPUs the VM goes quite laggy.

I don't see a difference in usability with 2vcpus enabled, I haven't tested it thoroughly though.

I've yet to try to the various `dual core vt options` in vmware...
