FadeFX Posted October 20, 2008 Share Posted October 20, 2008 hi, after getting my hackintosh completely running (Calyway 10.5.2 updated to 10.5.5) and working i thaught about changing partition sizes with gparted from a ubuntu hardy disc, what i finally did not do, but gparted was started and at least reading the disc infos. so now after restarting the system wont boot except if the osx dvd is in drive and i do not press the "any key" ;-) if the dvd is not in the drive the system stops after trying to boot from cd. i assume that there something went wrong with the bootloader and i need to repair this (MBR?) but how to perform such a task, since i am totaly apple noob!?
