YourKhan
I recently tried to install iDeneb 10.5.5 on my Dell XPS m1530 on a second partition and used the chan0 method to dual boot with the Vista boot manager. Even more recently, I uninstalled OSX86 because I prefer Linux as my unix-based half of my computer. I noticed that iDeneb put something ahead of the vista boot manager in my boot sequence. boot0: MBR boot0: Done. What is this? I think it changed something in my MBR, and I have no idea how to get rid of it. As a side note, i am also unable to sue my slot-load dvd drive after the iDeneb installation. I assume this is some random problem with osx on a dell laptop, and i am getting a replacement drive soon. The problem is that the drive refuses to physically load a disc. This is a problem, because I suspect the Vista recovery dvd would be of assistance in removing boot0, although I think I will have access to an external DVD drive soon. If anyone has encountered something like this and has a solution, it would be welcome. Thanks!
MacNutty
You need Darwin Boot loader to be installed. Just google it and you will find a solution how to install it.
YourKhan
You misunderstand. I uninstalled OSX86 and darwin boot loader, but the boot0 message is still there. I want to remove it.
