I have found nice little utility, which compiles fine, but I don't know what to do next, because I am still a Unix idiot.

Can some OS X guru help with converting this app to Mac OS X?

Link to a project number one:

wmacpi_temp utility

Link to a possible utility number two:

Healthd utility

I was looking into this before and posted some related information in this thread:

Now, I would first like to note that Hardware Monitor 3.2 is Universal, it did not work for me in 10.4.3, I am going to try it now in 10.4.5:

EDIT: Hardware Monitor 3.4 is able to read the temperature of my disk drives, but not CPU in 10.4.5. Unless this is some kind of BIOS versus EFI issue, I do not understand why it does not work.

In addition to healthd, there are to other FreeBSB utilities that could be port to OS X to work here: lmmon and xmbmon.
