If you can return it then do so and get the DS3R version the fire wire works on it otherwise I have used a Dynex 3 port PCI card with the Agere L-FW323-06 chipset on it and if you have an old Audigy sound card laying around with the fire wire port on it this will work too. That's great news. Does this mobo allow ddr2 800mhz? Sorry Im a musician not computer tech but can't afford a real mac to run logic studio.
