Guitar Rig 2 - not working with Kalway 10.5.2

I have a license for Guitar Rig 2 - I installed the demo hoping it would be detected and OSX would suddenly have sound but alas, no such luck. I installed all the software and RigKontrol2 shows up in the USB page of the system profiler. But I can't select it as an output device in any applications. I haven't rebooted but there was no message saying I should reboot. Any ideas how to fix this?

THanks
