veamon Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 So, I had osx 10.5.5 running on my pc with about 768mb ram. Was usable, but not that great. So I just double my memory to 1.5gb, and to be honest, it doesn't seem THAT much faster. Photoshop takes about 10 seconds to get loaded, firefox takes about 7, etc etc... System profiler recognizes it, i have a 3ghz processor, running the Darwin 9.4.0 kernel, a GeForce 5200 FX that does all the cutesy stuff just fine. Is there anything else I can do?
