aledesma
I have successfully installed ideneb 1.3 on my Dell Poweredge 1800 2-Xeons@2.8Ghz/6GBRam it picked up all the hardware. The only problem I can only boot into the OS X if I leave the install DVD in the drive if not I get an error like the one below I know it is not exact but I hope someone out there can help me. GPT HFS+ boot error or something like that I have tried to use Gparted to set the partition active and then it hoses the installation and then I reinstalled and found some posts about using fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 p and I get Starting Ending #: id cyl hd sec - cyl hd sec [ start - size] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1: EE 1023 254 63 - 1023 254 63 [ 1 - 488397167] GPT 2: 00 0 0 0 - 0 0 0 [ 0 - 0] unused 3: 00 0 0 0 - 0 0 0 [ 0 - 0] unused 4: 00 0 0 0 - 0 0 0 [ 0 - 0] unused fdisk: 1> I then do F 1 still nothing I am so lost I am almost there but I am stuck ----------- [update] I fixed it it was all about the kernel I switched to 9.4 in the setup and it came up flawlessly.
