sersam
Any browser crashes... in multiprocessor mode, but stays stable if single processor mode is enabled. I have tried Safari, Camino (both is fast), Opera, Firefox (very slow), osX 10.4.3 and 10.4.5 with the second security update... All the same. In other cases osX runs great. It there any possibility to solve this problem? May be I can execute browsers only on single processor? I've had issues with 10.4.3 with Firefox 1.5.2, IE5 but never had issues with Hyperthreading slowing me down. Did you try 10.4.6 [JaS DVD]? I've installed that and firefox launches faster than Camino and Opera but a tad slower than safari in Hyperthreading mode.
