netvox2 Posted October 11, 2008 Share Posted October 11, 2008 P5N-D Nforce 750i SLI video: 7900 GT ram: 2GB bios: 0402 What works: - iDeneb 1.3 (10.5.5) - patch it with the nforce patch - Burn the patched iso with 4 speed max (after checking the md5) - Boot from DVD, F8 with -x -v - Go to Disk Utility and format youre drive GUID, 1 partition (no spaces in the diskname !) - Close Disk utility and customize youre install: . Choose youre language (thnx iDeneb team !) . Audio: ALC883 . Chipset: AppleNForceAta . Kernel: 9.4.0 StageXNU . Network: no network selected (mobo nforce network doesn't work) . Fix: ACPI fix (but i don't know if that fixes the ACPI problem) . AppleSMBIOS: nothing selected . Video: NVInject 0.2.1 256 MB selected for my 7900 GT card . Applications: All selected - Installer finishes without errors (thnx iDeneb team again) - Boot from DVD again, F8 with -x -v and go to the terminal - rm -rf YoureVolumeNameWithoutSpaces/System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext - remove the DVD and reboot F8 with -f - after the screen goes to black, wait a little more and more from my log: Oct 11 17:46:35 localhost kernel[0]: Extension "com.apple.driver.ApplePCIConfigurator" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style.
