evan69 Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 Help guys, I just updated using this guide http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=121849 and once I updated with the kalyway update, it wouldn't boot due to this error. the only difference in hardware is that I have a core 2 quad q6600, and a firewire pci card, but I've been told that firewire actually has nothing to do with it....so help? evan69 Posted October 9, 2008 Author Share Posted October 9, 2008 I got it to work, had to do the flag "update -v" so now I'm all the way up to 10.5.4 with everything working smooth. I love it.
