sd_dracula Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 i managed to successfully install Kalyway 10.5.2 on my inspiron 8600 laptop. after i installed it everything worked fine sound, video, drives, even wifi and bluetooth. however i needed to upgrade to al least 10.5.3 before i could install the iphone sdk. so i've applied the kalyway 10.5.3 combo patch and after restarting it still worked, well everything except the sound which was working before. the sdk installed ok but i kinda need the sound too. when i installed the os i didn't actually pick any of sound drivers as my sigmatel onboard sound was not on the list. how can i just reinstall the driver if i dont even know which one i had installed? sd_dracula Posted October 9, 2008 Author Share Posted October 9, 2008 it is a STAC 9750 AC97 onboard sound. i tried to search the forums but no answers. anyone know how maybe i can get the drivers off the kalyway 10.5.2 dvd?
