Severain
Long story short, I'm trying to install OSX on a ASUS P5Q PRO motherboard - but I only have an IDE DVD drive, and no IDE to SATA adapter. I do, however, have a standalone usb or firewire HDD in the form of an old iPod. Now, I know you can use diskUtility in OSX to mount an install DVD on a usb drive, but I can't figure out how to do it under windows. Anyone have any pointers? Severain
Bump, just copying over the files on an install dvd doesn't preserve boot sectors
Severain
Anyone at all know how to do the "restore iso to any hard drive" function in Windows? Most of the drive cloning tools I've found use some silly proprietary format.
