Who's the Boss?
I'm just wondering about whether it's cheap emulation or if it can be used as a viable system for programs like Final Cut and Garage Band. thank-you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/129764-is-a-hackintosh-almost-as-good-as-a-real-mac/ Share on other sites
LS8
It is no emulation. Mac OS X works natively on (well chosen) PC hardware. Xenn0X
yes hack works fine with the proper hardware. i can run all software like final cut, garageband, abobe cs3. just don't expect that from an old pentium 4. have at least core 2 duo. Who's the Boss?
I'm going to be using a 2.5GHZ c2d e5200 with a Intel G31 / Intel ICH7 motherboard, 2GB OCZ SLI READY DDR2 RAM, an nVidia 7900GT. The motherboard is a Biostar G31-M7 and I'm worried because it's nowhere on the compatibility list. Do you know if the motherboard should be ok with patches or probably not? I could use my main computer, an e8400 with nvidia 680i motherboard if the other motherboard is not compatible. (ill have to check 680i too) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/129764-is-a-hackintosh-almost-as-good-as-a-real-mac/#findComment-919502 Share on other sites
