Uncle Leo
Hi guys, a few months ago I build my aunt a low-budget Hackintosh (Celeron 430, 1gb RAM, GMA950) so I installed xxxTiger 10.4.11 on it. So far everything is working fine with Vanilla Kernel, rock solid 24/7. Now I see there are a lot of Updates in Software Update: Security Update 2008-06 (intel) Safari Java Keynote Pages Numbers iPhoto iMovie GarageBand iWeb Aperture iTunes QuickTime Is it safe to update? Maybe it's a little kamikaze to update the system through Software Update, but how about if I manually download the updates from apple.com and install the .dmg? Will it break the system? scj312
The security update will break it, the rest appear to be fine.
