centic
I've got an 8800 GT, I'm using NVinject.kext with what I believe are the correct GeForce kext's. It works "fine" in safe boot (-x). Both of my displays load up at 1680x1050 and work great. When I don't do safe boot, after it's finished booting, when the screen would normally go blue before the desktop appears, my monitor goes black, then turns off, then turns back on with a black screen. I also don't have QE/CI working when i'm in safe boot Can anyone point me in the right direction here?
JaE-V
remove nvinject.kext from system/library/extensions. reboot into your installation without flags. Download efistudio. Select your card, hit save. Reboot. Enjoy.
centic
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the result is the same :\ Removed NVinject, rebooted to normal mode. Display booted into 1024x768, i ran efistudio, added my card, wrote to boot.plist, restarted and it did the black screen thing again Rebooted again using -x, everything works perfect, except QE/CI and the fact that i'm in safe boot. Here's a SS of profiler: http://mt12.quickshareit.com/share/bf2395ee6a2e9b8c1.png

Double check your extensions folder and make sure nothing else is there such as natit or nvinject or anything else like that. Its the only reason the driver wouldnt work. Also try and just have one monitor connected while you work this out. EFI studio is garunteed to work with that card. Boot with just -v and see whats happening. Could be kernel related Also try this http://aquamac.proboards106.com/index.cgi?...=509&page=1 shouldnt have a problem.

Tried again with EFI Studio with no success (it still works with both monitors in safe mode though) and then tried that last link, again with no success. I've looked over my extensions folder again and I don't see natit or nvinject, but maybe i'm missing something. Here's the extensions i have: http://pastie.org/285912 I appreciate all your help!
