Hey :thumbsup_anim:

I installed 10.4.3 perfectly. Followed Maxxuss guide to the letter to intall 10.4.4 ... This went perfectly, until i rebooted ... My computer just hangs after he's trying to boot from my cd/dvd drives (no dvd/cd-rom in drives).

In the guide it says:

If your CPU has no SSE3 support, make sure you copy the patched boot loader files to your "/usr/standalone/i386" folder on your running 10.4.3 system. Most important is the file "boot". This has to be done before you create and format the 10.4.4 target volume! (You can make a backup of the original contents of "/usr/standalone/i386", but only restore it when your 10.4.4 system is installed and is working.)

Ok .. but do i have to copy these files to "/usr/standalone/i386" on my volume where i installed 10.4.4 ? 'Cuz when i list the files in "/usr/standalone/i386" on 10.4.4 volume it says ... boot.efi

So can anyone help me with this ?

Thx In Advance!

grtz

Maxxuss' seems to be indicating that you need to copy those boot files to your 10.4.3 installation not the 10.4.4 (which should not even exist at that point in his instructions).
