z00100
I bought a new DVD writer the LG GH-22 and it doesn't seem to detect blank DVD's. I haven't tried other brands as I only have Imation with me right now. The complete symptoms are: It detects the DVD, but doesn't detect any free space on it. It says it has 0k available, so in effect I can't burn because it says insert disk with more space. I just bought the drive and would hate to have it redundant. Please advise if I can somehow get this drive working properly. One more thing, it seems that normal CD's work fine. I haven't tried burning a CD though. z00100
To further add: It detects burned DVD's (i.e. reads the contents). Including Imation discs. It detects and burns all types of CDR's. I have a whole lot of ISO's I want to burn, so I need this to work. Please help??
