sokol Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 I am using iAtkos 1.0i R2, Everything goes well but when installation ends and when I restart and take the dvd out, I get Disk Boot Failure, insert system Disk Press enter. I am using AHCI, Also I am using x86 bootloader which comes in the package. I formatted my drive using Mac OS extended name the drive Leo and it installs, but it wont boot up. I even check if the it acually installed the 5.1gb to the leo drive and it did. My drive was 139gb before install and now it is 134gb. Here are my PC Specs CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0ghz Mobo - DFI Lanparty P35 chipset 9r HDD - WD Raptor X 150g SATA VGA - EVGA 8800 GT SC SC - Creative X-fi Extreme Gamer Ram - 2gb Mushkin Can somone tell what I'm doing wrong. I am kinda new to this OSX hacking community. I have xfire and aim it would be easier to talk and faster on xfire or aim. My Xfire sn is sokol87 and aim is ponopl. Hope to hear from someone soon. MacNutty Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 You have a problem with the boot. Install a boot loader from OSx86 Tools. Boot using you install disk, once booted then install the boot loader of your choice. This will solve your problem. If any thing else then post.
