B612
Hi, guys! I was wondering which one is the best antispam for MAC OS. In Windows, I use Mailwasher Pro 5, which works perfect. There is also a version for MAC OS, but I think it came out lately, so I cannot find any c***k to apply. Are there any other programs which can go to the server and automatically erase blacklisted emails etc? Which one would you suggest? urig-herb
The spam filter integrated in Mail.app works very well for me. I think it's just a bayesian filter, without any blacklists. B612
it works well for me, too, but it's not connected to online databases like firstAlert! or SpamCop, so it's much less powerful; moreover it's not as reliable as MailWasher. So I'm looking for something better... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12858-best-antispam/#findComment-81507 Share on other sites
alicheusz
I use antispam form gmail, this one is very good. If you don't won't lose your old email address you can still use it to send email, but configure it also to forward all incoming message to gmail. And from gmail you can download to your mail app this will filter yours spam without additional software. Good thin is also that you don't need download topics off all messages or anything else to filter your mail. If you need gmail invitation PM me. romey-rome
MAC / OS X don't get spam. It just works.. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12858-best-antispam/#findComment-82395 Share on other sites
B612
this is funny. MAC OS X as any other OS in the world cannot control the traffic between servers, nor SPAM, of course! A Nonny Moose
the OS can't control spam, but an obscure ISP can do it (like the one I'm on now). Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12858-best-antispam/#findComment-83445 Share on other sites
B612
Forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean by Obscure ISP? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12858-best-antispam/#findComment-83520 Share on other sites
