I tried to configure DHCP mode (he assigns IP addresses different from the IP address of the network) or manual - the problem perssiste! No windows, turn on the pc q'm on the Internet without the need for authentication. The network is comprised of: broadband modem and switch! My network card is the RTL 8169/8110 on board. S U M I T Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 Interestingly I'm having the same problem after I bought the Ethernet adapter a few days ago. I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2 and my Ethernet is Realtek RTL8139 with manual IP config. My Problem: > PC connects to the network. > Diagnosis shows connection up to ISP > Cannot connect to the internet. This problem reminds me of a similar problem in Windows. One of my LANs was behaving similarly but after I installed a proper driver it worked fine. I think we now need a good driver.
