help with FAT32 Boot

I wish to install Leopard / XP on my laptop I have an HFS partition of about 65 GB and 10 GB formatted as FAT32

Darwin bootlloader shows

(0,1)

(0,2) Osx ????

(0,3) Forieng OS

When I select the last option I get Invalid system disk If I boot into Osx and goto diskutil it shows that partition as not bootable ( however it is if I erase as HFS+ reformating back to FAT32 makes it non -bootable

How can I fix this problem My hard drive is formatted as GUID so as I can install updates directly with minimal patching and use vanilla kernal
